Mike Prince, author and principal of Cowboy Stories and More, is dedicated to providing clean and wholesome western adventure stories for young people. Mike has been writing cowboy poetry, short stories and novels for nearly 20 years. His humorous short stories have been published by the Nevada Rancher, a publication serving the states of Nevada, California and Oregon. His poetry has been published on-line and a sampling has been included in a commemorative collection of cowboy poetry entitled Thanks for the Poems, published for the 20th Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering by the Sharlot Hall Museum Press, Prescott, Arizona.

Mike's recent novel, Toquop the Warrior Stallion, was awarded the prestigeous 2008 Will Rogers Medallion Award for best western young adult fiction. The book also collected the 2008 Arizona Book Publishers Glyph award for best young adult western fiction.
