About the Author

opt2-color-mike-prince-author-photo-1-of-1Mike Prince is a lifelong Nevadan born into a three-generation ranching family. He inherited his love for rodeo from his parents, who both worked for the original Flying U Rodeo company.

Early in his career, he published a popular tabloid called the Rodeo Journal, dedicated to amateur and professional rodeo. After graduating from UNLV with a major in English, Mike has devoted himself to ranching and writing his life experiences in verse and short stories. His novels deal in western adventure stories for young people of all ages.

Toquop, the Warrior Stallion, is the first in a planned series of novels about the adventures of Flint Pierce in the wide open spaces of Nevada.
